Simtable modeling has given the Ku-ring-gai local council an innovative way of explaining fire danger to their local residents. Through funding provided by the NSW Government, Local Government NSW has invested in a new Simtable ‘sandbox’ tool that allows for 3D demonstrations of localised fire scenarios as well as other climate modeling.
Local Government NSW launched the tool earlier this year to assist local councils in building community resilience to natural disasters and climate change.
